Where it started
Two childhood friends looked at the pickleball world in 2021 and saw a gap: a joyful, social sport saddled with gear that was none of those things. So they built Recess Pickleball around paddles and apparel that was fun and design-forward. The women who showed up loved the brand, but they weren’t just pickleball players. They were tennis players, padel enthusiasts, and active, style-conscious women who move fluidly between sport and everyday life.
